The Palladium in Worcester was full of energy last night as fans filled the venue in anticipation of the incredible bands set to play. From beginning to end, there was never a dull moment. Openers Hollow Front, Dayseeker, and The Devil Wears Prada each drew in massive crowds, and rightfully so. Everyone came with a dynamic set in their own style. Each artist set the pace for the next, leading up to an explosive performance from We Came As Romans.
The tour, rescheduled from 2020, marks the 10th anniversary of the American metalcore band's hit album To Plant a Seed. In honor of how far the band has come, they opened their set with video recordings of each member talking about their experience as a part of We Came As Romans, acknowledging the surreal feeling of performing songs written in their teenage years to audiences all over the world. Their past releases have certainly secured a long lasting legacy for We Came As Romans, but the band shows no signs of stopping. We Came As Romans has released two singles this year: first Darkbloom in July, followed by Black Hole in September. The strength of these songs prove this band is just getting started in a new era of music. Although, it's nice to reminisce on the past as well.
